STI Electronics to Hold Certified IPC Application Specialist (CIS) Certification Course

MADISON, AL - STI Electronics, Inc., a full service organization providing training, electronic and industrial distribution, consulting, laboratory analysis, prototyping, and small- to medium-volume PCB assembly, announces that it will hold an IPC-A-610E Certified IPC Application Specialist (CIS) Certification Course in Broken Arrow, OK. The course will take place November 15-17, 2010 at the Hampton Inn located at 2300 West Albany Street. In Madison, AL.

The IPC-A-610E document “The Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies” is the most widely used specification for the electronics manufacturing industry. The IPC-A-610E Certified IPC Application Specialist (CIS) Course is modularized to allow companies maximum flexibility in training their CIS’s. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive an IPC-A-610E CIS certificate. Each certificate is valid for two years and indicates the appropriate modules that students were trained in.

STI is an IPC approved certification center for all currently available courses. The company’s technical and instruction staff is unsurpassed in knowledge and experience in the world of electronic assembly, solder training and specification requirements.
