MADISON, AL - STI Electronics, Inc., a full service organization providing training, electronic and industrial distribution, consulting, laboratory analysis, prototyping, and small- to medium-volume PCB assembly, announces the expansion of its products and services into Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana.

STI has appointed Jack Harris as an Outside Sales Representative to head up this expansion effort. Jack will be based in Dallas, TX and has more than 20 years experience supporting electronics and related industries. Jack understands all aspects of sales and customer service, having owned his own company for several years, and most recently was a sales representative supporting this same area.

As a nationwide distributor of over 200 product lines (Kester, OKI, Lista, Pace, and 3M to name a few), Jack will have full access to STI’s complete line of products, including STI’s world renowned Training Materials (solder/assembly training kits, process profiling kits, full mechanical component line, training aids, IPC documents and specifications, etc.). STI also offers direct and after-sales support through its dedicated staff of sales engineers, customer service representatives, and highly trained mechanical and electrical engineers.

In addition to the tremendous product line STI has to offer, Jack will have access to the service side of STI, which includes Engineering and Training Services. STI’s Engineering Services division is a multifaceted technical organization whose common goal is to provide engineering support in the field of electronics manufacturing. From product design and manufacturability analysis to pre-production prototype and development, STI’s Prototype and Development Lab is a full service design review and pre-production facility. STI’s Training Resources division offers a wide variety of electronics assembly and solder training courses, ranging from commercial to high-reliability requirements, including NASA for through-hole, surface mount, and cable/harness assembly, as well as staking and conformal coating. STI is an IPC Approved Certification center for all currently available courses (IPC-A-600, IPC-J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, IPC-7711/7721 and IPC/WHMA-620). Most courses can be customized to meet specific needs or requirements.

STI is known for its excellent customer service and the company looks forward to proving this once again in working with Jack and its new customers in the Southwest. Contact Jack today at (214) 770-1399 or jharris@stielectronicsinc.com to see how STI can help you.
