Bliss Industries Announces First FLEXconveyor Installation

Apr 21, 2009

MILPITAS, Calif. April 2009 Bliss Industries Inc., provider of handling carts and racks for electronics assembly, announces that it has installed its first FLEXconveyor in OnCore Manufacturing Services' San Jose, Calif. facility.

OnCore, one of the world's premier electronics manufacturing companies serving the Defense, Medical and Industrial markets, recently purchased Bliss's FLEXconveyor, and has announced tentative plans to install the system into all of its facilities nationwide.

Bliss CEO, Ken Bliss attended OnCore's Open House on Thursday, April 16, 2009, where he demonstrated the new FLEXconveyor box build line. At the Open House, Ken presented OnCore CEO Dan Perez with an award reading Certificate of Recognition: The First Installation of the FLEXconveyor. Bliss Industries hereby acknowledges OnCore Manufacturing Services for their visionary efforts in revolutionizing their brand new facility, with a flexible box-build line. Congratulations!

The FLEXconveyor is the first box-build factory on wheels, providing a new way to kit, box build products and assemble them. The revolutionary design maximizes lean manufacturing to the extreme by adding the ability to simply unclamp and reclamp any section of the conveyor line at any time to meet changing needs and improved processes. The FLEXconveyor is the ideal solution for low- and high-mix facilities.

It was very exciting to be part of OnCore's newest San Jose headquarters and manufacturing site open house. We had a chance to really show off the first fully installed Bliss Patent Pending FLEXconveyor 'A Flexible Box Build Factory on Wheels'. The customers loved it and OnCore's other site managers wanted to know how soon we were shipping it to their facilities. I was delighted to speak with Dan Perez about the FLEXconveyor. Dan said that it truly gives OnCore a competitive edge especially in this economy, said Ken Bliss CEO Bliss Industries, Inc.

Ken continued, When my engineering team came up with this revolutionary new concept I knew we were onto something big. It has been very exciting to launch a product like this in a down economy and customers calling us looking for a highly competitive edge to regain market share and build new revenue streams.
