PCB Solutions Planning New Utah Building

Jul 11, 2008

PCB Solutions, Inc specializes in Printed Circuit Board Assembly as a Contract Electronics Manufacturer. The company has outgrown its current 14,000 square foot facility located at 3020 North Fairfield Road in Layton. Plans for the new facility include the addition of new equipment and additional personnel.

PCB Solutions, Inc of Layton, Utah, has recently announced plans to be the first to build in the new East Gate Business Park. The proposed East Gate Development will be located at 3500 North Fairfield Road, also in Layton.

This announcement, coupled with the company's plans to complete their AS9100 Certification in August, comes on the heels of a record first quarter earnings report. Founded in 2000, the company has earned a solid reputation as a quality PCB Assembly Company throughout the industry. They currently service a broad range of industries that include medical, wireless technologies, broadcasting, automotive, pharmaceutical, consumer electronics, and many others.

As recent trends in the electronics industry continue to favor the growth of domestic SMT and Thru Hole Assembly. PCB Solutions, Inc has experienced triple digit sales increases over the last consecutive three year period. Joe Otterstrom, VP of Manufacturing said that "The success we've experienced has been phenomenal. We really have outgrown our current facility. I'm excited about the relocation and I look forward to our increased capacity. It just makes good sense for us-and our customers. We can continue to accommodate their needs as they grow and develop as well."

Steve Niblack, VP of Operations stated that "The new facilities will more than double our space. That will enable us to continue our steady growth. From an operations standpoint, it's nice to know that we'll all have more room to do what we do best-which is PCBA."

Owner and President Dave Woodbury commented, "It's a nice addition for Layton City also. We're proud to be a part of this community and the East Gate Business Park should continue to attract more of the kinds of businesses that inspire continued growth and economic development. To be the first to establish a new location in the park is really an honor."

East Gate Business Park is scheduled to break ground later this year. For more information, contact Layton City by calling Ben Hart at 801-336-3790.
