Dage�s Hal Hendrickson elected to SMTA Board of Directors

June 24, 2008, Fremont, California � Dage Precision Industries, a Nordson company (NASDAQ: NDSN) and the industry leader in digital x-ray inspection and bondtesting technology, is pleased to announce that Hal Hendrickson has been elected to the Surface Mount Technology Association�s (SMTA) Board of Directors.

Mr. Hendrickson is the General Manager and National Sales Manager for the Americas of Dage Precision Industries located in Fremont, California. Hal has been an active member of SMTA since 1991 and has been actively involved in the electronics industry since 1974. Over the years, Hal has had a wide variety of experience selling and representing various production equipment manufacturers within the electronics industry.

His experience includes owning and operating his own manufacturer�s representative organization for eight years, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Sensbey Inc. for ten years and General Manager and National Sales Manager of Dage Precision Industries for eight years, where he is involved in x-ray inspection and testing of printed circuit board assemblies and semiconductors. These experiences have allowed him to both be involved in and experience first hand the evolution of electronic production.

Hal has been an active member of the SMTA in various capacities over many years and has watched it grow from an idea into a vibrant organization. He has held various positions with the Silicon Valley Chapter including Vice President of Membership and has been a speaker at different SMTA chapters throughout the United States. Mr. Hendrickson has also served as a member of the SMTA International exhibitor committee. His goal in serving on the SMTA Board of Directors is to help the association achieve its full potential and success as a training and networking organization as well as to expand into new areas of global involvement.
