SMTA WI to Host Plant Tour of Local VOTECH School, holds Discussion on CAMX and Factory Automation

Wisconsin � The SMTA Wisconsin chapter is pleased to announce a chapter meeting taking place Thursday March 20th beginning at 6PM. We are pleased to have Andrew Dugenske of the Georgia Institute of Technology Manufacturing Research Center lead a discussion on the joint NEMI-IPC CAMX project as well as other trends in SMT automation. For over 15 years, Mr. Dugenske has lead industry-funded projects in the area of electronics assembly, software systems for manufacturing and supply chain issues.

In addition to the above discussion, the attendees will have the pleasure of a tour of the Richard T. Anderson Education Center at the WCTC Pewaukee. The WCTC is a vocational technical college providing corporate and community training, providing assistance with workplace technology issue and helping solve specific local business problems. Ray J. Walter, Ph.D. and Associate Dean of the Electronics & Engineering Technologie at Waukesha County Technical College will be the tour guide.
