SMTA Anaheim Academy

The SMTA is pleased to announce a new Academy program for 2008. SMTA Anaheim will be held January 29-31, 2008 at the Anaheim Convention Center in conjunction with Electronics West. This year's program will feature ten full and half-day Academy Courses and the SMTA Certification Program for SMT Processes.

The Academy courses address both cutting edge and fundamental topics in electronics manufacturing and business issues. This year, course topics will focus on lead-free and package issues. The SMTA Certification program is a three-day offering consisting of a 1.5 day refresher workshop on topics in SMT Processes. SMTA Certification is intended for manufacturing and process engineers. Additionally, production, design, test and quality engineering personnel, as well as SMT assembly managers who want to confirm their current competence at a fundamental level of overall process technology should also consider participating. This comprehensive program will provide the refresher course, study materials and examination allowing you to be recognized as an SMTA Certified Process Engineer.
