Grand United Holdings Bhd, which is incorporated in the Federation of Malaya, said its wholly-owned unit MC Industry Sdn Bhd plans to invest an additional US$4 million in its China PCB manufacturing subsidiary, according to an AFX-ASIA report by Maria Khong, dated February 12, 2003 (dateline Kuala Lumpur).

According to the AFX-ASIA report, Grand United has said that MC Industry would increase its equity investment in its wholly-owned unit in China, Grand Circuit Industry (Suzhou) Co., to a total of US$13 million, in order to facilitate Grand Circuit's commercial production of higher-end PCBs, notably double-sided boards.
