A fabless semiconductor company headquartered in Campbell, Calif. and Crewe, U.K., Anadigm provides field programmable analog integrated circuits and associated design software that greatly reduce the time, effort, and expense required to create real-world interfaces in industrial, communications, automotive, audio capture, and environmental control systems.
William McLean has a stellar record of taking companies with promising technologies to the next level, said Peter van Cuylenburg, Chairman of the Anadigm Board of Directors. The release of Anadigms new dynamically reconfigurable field programmable analog array product family has poised the company for a new phase of growth, which William is superbly qualified to lead.
Mr. McLean served as President, U.S. Operations and Vice President, Worldwide Sales of Parthus Technologies from 1998 until the companys recent combination with Ceva, formerly the DSP licensing division of DSP Group. By 2001, he grew Parthus sales to $41 million while leading the companys M&A activities in the United States and Asia. He joined Parthus from Authentec, a biometrics firm and spin-off from Harris Semiconductor, where he was Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. Mr. McLean joined Harris Semiconductor in 1996, serving as Vice President and General Manager of Worldwide Sales and Marketing.
Anadigm is fundamentally changing the way analog and digital relate to one another within embedded systems, Mr. McLean said. It is exciting to join a company whose technology is quickly being adopted across a number of market segments and who will play a key role in defining how the programmable systems of tomorrow are designed and implemented.
Mr. McLean previously served in executive management positions at Fujitsu Microelectronics and Advanced Telecommunications Modules Ltd. He began his career at Texas Instruments, where he spent 12 years in various sales and marketing positions. Mr. McLean holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from Christian Brothers University, Memphis, Tenn.
