Top U.S. Firms & Institutions Implement GiveMePower Technology To Improve And Mobilize Operations

Sep 12, 2002

GiveMePower today announced that it has added thousands of new clients in the last few months for its PowerCAD desktop and mobile/wireless software systems. New clients include Fortune 500 companies as well as Americas top governmental institutions including: Maytag Corporation , a $2.4 B company; General Dynamics Corporation a $15.7 B company; Whirlpool Corporation a $3.6 B company; the Centers for Disease Control, the U.S.s leading federal agency for protecting the health and safety of Americans; the National Institutes of Health, the steward of medical and behavioural research for the U.S; and multiple branches of the U.S. Military.

Each new client has licensed single or multiple seats of GiveMePowers flexible, robust, and cost-efficient PowerCAD Pro and LT+ computer-aided design software for Windows, or have begun mobilizing their workforce using GiveMePowers unique PowerCAD CE portable CAD system to remotely manage and wirelessly collaborate on designs and digital blueprints using Microsoft Windows CE handheld computers. Many larger firms are evaluating wide-scale implementation of PowerCAD as a compatible extension or inexpensive alternative to more complex and higher-priced systems currently in use.

At Maytag Corporation, plant engineers and managers use PowerCAD CE to improve manufacturing processes by making design changes directly on the shop floor on Compaq iPAQ Pocket PCs. At General Dynamics, the Centers for Disease Control, and the National Institutes of Health, PowerCAD CE is loaded on Windows CE handheld computers to improve management of vast institutional facilities, allowing wireless retrieval and transfer of results over the Internet or the company Intranet.

PowerCAD is rapidly gaining ground in a large, underserved market of small and medium sized companies, stated Bill Walton, President and CEO of GiveMePower. The recent orders we have begun to receive from some of the largest, multi-billion dollar companies in the U.S., as well as leading governmental institutions including the U.S. Military, bodes well for our continued rapid growth through higher-revenue generating contracts in the future.

GiveMePowers product offerings include PowerCAD Pro and PowerCAD LT+ for Windows desktop computing and PowerCAD CE, the worlds first full-featured mobile CAD for Windows CE wireless handheld computing. For software developers and business partners, the company licenses their PowerENGINE Software Development System for creation and distribution of low-cost design and business engineering solutions.

PowerCAD products are available for free trial from the companys website at http://www.givemepower.com.
