On April 9th, the inauguration and plaque unveiling ceremony of Unicomp Advanced Inspection Applied Technology Research Institute was successfully held in Wuxi.
The ceremony was attended and unveiled by Chung Youliao, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Xue Yusheng, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Feng Shaodong, Vice-Chairman of Jiangsu Association for Science and Technology and Cui Rongguo, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Wuxi National Hi-Tech District and Secretary of Xinwu District Committee of Wuxi city.
Academicians Chung Youliao and Xue Yusheng said that they would spare no effort to attract and cultivate high-end technical talent and contribute to international cooperation. They also called on colleagues from all sectors to work together to build Unicomp Advanced Inspection Applied Technology Research Institute into a first-class domestic innovation platform of intelligent inspection.
Secretary Cui Rongguo pointed out in his speech that the founding of Unicomp Advanced Inspection Applied Technology Research Institute is a concrete step to strengthen the deep integration of scientific and technological innovation and industrial innovation, which will certainly consolidate and expand the strategic emerging manufacturing industry and high-tech manufacturing industry in Wuxi National Hi-Tech District and become an important position for the development of new productive forces.
Dr. Liu Jun, on behalf of the company, extended a warm welcome and sincere thanks to all the guests. He pointed out that the path to the future lies in win-win cooperation. The founding of the Institute aims to build a professional platform for the development and transformation of inspection technology and results, adding momentum internally, seeking symbiosis externally, accumulating the centripetal force of scientific and technological research , and outlining the largest concentric circle of intelligent inspection technology services.
At the ceremony, Dr. Liu Jun, Chairman of Unicomp Technology, issued letters of appointment to five experts.
Zhou Li, Chief Technology Officer of Unicomp Technology and Director of Unicomp Advanced Inspection Institute, introduced the founding philosophy, purpose, and positioning of the Research Institute.
Unicomp Advanced Inspection Applied Technology Research Institute will actively promote the development strategy of "horizontal expansion and vertical deepening", enhancing close interaction with domestic and foreign universities, research institutes, and industries. On the one hand, it will horizontally expand, widely absorbing advanced inspection technologies such as optics, ultrasound, magnetic powder, eddy current, spectrum, neutron, and quantum. On the other hand, it will vertically deepen, focusing on sub-micron and high-power X-ray sources, achieving technological breakthroughs in key components such as magnetron tubes, RF vacuum tubes, photomultiplier tubes, and photon counting detectors.
In order to further strengthen and expand China's industrial intelligent inspection equipment industry, Unicomp Technology held a signing ceremony for future project research and development cooperation, talent cultivation, and innovation consortium.
