Firstronic LLC announces that it was awarded a 2017 Global Technology Award in the category of Contract Services > $100 million. The award was presented to the company during a Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017 ceremony that took place during productronica in Munich, Germany. Firstronic is a premier specialty provider of electronics manufacturing services (EMS), including turnkey electronic assembly and materials management services to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the electronics industry.
Firstronic’s electronic manufacturing services consist primarily of the manufacture of complex printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) using through-hole and surface mount technology (SMT), interconnection technologies including fine-pitch and mixed technology products. At Firstronic, re-shoring isn’t just a talking point; it has become our major source of business growth.
The Firstronic team is so responsive that its customers outsource to them not only for product destined for the US, but also globally. Five of the company’s recent projects included products exported to Mexico, China, Korea, or India. A sixth program involved reshoring production back from China.
