TECNOMATIX APPOINTS NEW HEAD OF ASIAN OPERATIONS

NASHUA, N.H., � August 21, 2001 � Tecnomatix Technologies, Ltd. (NASDAQ: TCNO), the leading provider of Manufacturing Process Management software solutions, today announced the appointment of George Guo to Vice President and General Manager of Tecnomatix-Unicam�s Asia Operations. Tecnomatix-Unicam is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tecnomatix Technologies, with headquarters in Portsmouth, New Hampshire USA.

Guo joins Tecnomatix-Unicam from Data I/O where he managed the Asia Pacific Operations. Data I/O is a world leader in manufacturing programming systems and engineering design software for the users of programmable circuits. �George�s experience and leadership abilities made this choice an easy one,� said Harel Beit-On, president and CEO, Tecnomatix Technologies.

George is very familiar with the electronics manufacturing industry in Asia after targeting this market for the past five years at Data I/O, so he will be instrumental in leading Tecnomatix-Unicam�s business strategy and operations in this growing region.�

Prior to Data I/O, Guo worked for Ioline Corporation as the regional sales manager for Asia Pacific, and as an account executive for Ming Ga Computer and Electronics. He holds a BA degree in International Business from Xieman University in China, and an MBA in International Marketing from Southern Oregon University.
