ZEVAm is a flexible, high-performing and affordable point-to-point soldering system offering a stunning array of process and productivity-enhancing features that bring value and flexibility to today’s selective soldering process.

Vitronics Soltec will formally introduce their new ZEVAm Selective Soldering platform in Vitronics Soltec’s booth (Hall A4, Booth 554) at Productronica in Munich, Germany, November 10-12 2015. ZEVAm is a flexible, high-performing and affordable point-to-point soldering system offering a stunning array of process and productivity-enhancing features that bring value and flexibility to today’s selective soldering process.

The ZEVAm Selective Soldering platform delivers the best process capabilities for an entry level price in the point-to-point soldering market. The highly flexible and customizable ZEVAm can easily solder the most complex PCBs in process today, and can process three PCBssimultaneously for maximum throughput in a high mix environment. It’s what PCB assemblers need to meet current and future challenges in mixed production, fine pitch soldering and process control for the selective soldering process.

In making the announcement, Frank van Erp,Director, European Sales and Service, said, “Our new ZEVAm’s high frequency fluxing technology provides the most accurate process to meet today’s selective soldering quality, process control, and throughput challenges. Robust features, including up to three full-size preheating units, closed loop preheating during soldering, and the fact that as many as three products can be processed simultaneously make ZEVAm a hard-working system geared to production demands.

ZEVAm also features patented soldering technology, tilting capability for fine pitch, and Solder Drainage Conditioning (SDC) for ultimate control of the process. SmartTeach software enables fast setup and reliable recipes, and tight process control and monitoring provides the engineer with maximum insight on day-to-day performance. Non-wettable nozzles and automatic wave/solder height measurement are some of the many standard features and options available.
