Juki Expands Relationship with Brazilian Distributors

Juki Corporation and Juki Automation Systems are pleased to announce a major expansion of its operations in Brazil. Together with the company’s longtime distributor, Altrade Comércio e Representações Ltda., it will expand its product line offerings, demo facilities, applications engineering team and service team to meet growing goals in this important market.

Altrade and Juki have worked together for more than 25 years, and with these steps are preparing for growth in the next 25 years together. Juki Corporation Executive Operating Officer and JAS CEO Robert Black and Altrade Managing Director Julio Freitas jointly stated, “Our long partnership between Juki and Altrade has contributed significantly to Juki’s growth in the SMT and electronics assembly markets over our years together. We look forward to working even more closely together as we introduce a range of exciting new products into the Brazilian market.”

Among the new products to be introduced in Brazil are the StorageSolutions automated component storage systems, the iCube in-line selective soldering system, the JM Series of odd-parts insertion machines, the JX series of high-speed and low-cost LED placement systems, the complete line of JUKI/GKG printers, the full line of JUKI/JT reflow ovens, and the RX Series of high-speed component placement machines.


Juki Automation Systems (JAS), is an international leader in high-speed SMT Assembly equipment, has shipped more than 28,000 machines worldwide since 1987. Altrade was founded in 1991 and is focused in providing complete solutions in electronic board or final products assembly.

The headquarters is located in Atibaia (near to São Paulo city) and has 55.000 square meter area, including industrial area for factory automation equipment (FlowTrack Brand), training center, show-room and a large inventory area for spare parts for all equipment offered.

Altrade structure counts with 68 employees covering areas of Project Engineering, Manufacturing, Technical Support, Import/Export, Sales and Administration.
