Kurtz Ersa North America, a leading supplier of electronics production equipment, announces that Hudson, NH-based Teledyne Printed Circuit Technology (PCT) has purchased an ECOSELECT 1 selective soldering machine.

Matt Bakker, Teledyne Printed Circuit Technology’s General Manager stated:  “After a complete and thorough analysis of each machine available in the market, we chose the ECOSELECT 1 due to its superior performance soldering through-hole connector products into complex multi-layer rigid flex assemblies.

The ECOSELECT 1 requires less than 3 m² of space, allowing it to fit optimally into cell production environments. In all process steps the semiautomatic ECOSELECT 1 system uses the same successful and proven Ersa selective soldering technology as the large Ersa VERSAFLOW systems without compromising quality or accuracy. The high precision servo gantry system, and electromagnetic pumping system, together with top- and bottom-side preheating, provides the highest capability and best repeatability.

Teledyne PCT provides solutions to high reliability markets such as commercial and military aerospace, defense equipment, medical applications and some commercial end products. The company manufactures flex and ridged flex boards and performs all aspects of product fabrication from conceptualization through design to finish product. All Teledyne products meet varied, stringent MIL and industry certifications. The company‘s internal quality system is registered to ISO 9001:2000 and AS9100.
