Ravi Parthasarathy, ZESTRON, to Present at the SMTA iNEMI Medical Electronics Symposium

Nov 09, 2013

ZESTRON, the globally leading provider of high precision cleaning products, services and training solutions for the electronics manufacturing industry, is pleased to announce that Ravi Parthasarathy, M.S.Chem.Eng., Senior Process Engineer, ZESTRON, will present “Reliability Requirements for Class 3 Medical Assemblies” at the SMTA iNEMI Medical Electronics Symposium on Tuesday, November 12th at 3:00 PM.

For Class 3 medical assemblies, the highest electronic reliability is a requirement. Partially removed or untouched residues can lead to in-field product failures resulting from electrical leakage currents, dendrite growth and electrochemical migration. In “Reliability Requirements for Class 3 Medical Assemblies,” Mr. Parthasarathy will present the studies that identified an aqueous cleaning process capable of removing combinations of no-clean flux residues for these assemblies.

Ravi Parthasarathy, M.S.Chem.Eng., is a Senior Process Engineer at ZESTRON America. He has published various technical articles in leading electronics manufacturing magazines and has presented numerous technical papers and studies at trade shows and technical forums throughout South Asia and the Americas.  He is an active member of the SMTA as well as the IPC.

The SMTA iNEMI Medical Electronics Symposium will be held at the Embassy Suites in Milipitas, CA from November 12 to November 13.  For the full technical program or to register for this event, please visit SMTA.org.
