From the first Panasonic SMT placement equipment to be sold in the United States, the Panasert series, to today’s latest innovations of the AM100 and NPM assembly solutions, Panasonic Factory Solutions has brought first-hand electronics manufacturing know-how to the electronics assembly markets in America, Canada, and Mexico.
During the evolution of Panasonic Factory Solutions Company of America, its extensive manufacturing experience, increasingly smarter equipment, and the need to digitally improve processes fostered the creation of PanaCIM® Enterprise Edition, a manufacturing execution system (MES) software that developed in the United States and implemented globally.
A special anniversary ceremony held yesterday in Panasonic Factory Solutions Company of America’s Rolling Meadows, IL offices featured speeches by Faisal Pandit, President, Panasonic Factory Solutions Company of America, Joseph M. Taylor , Chairman & CEO, Panasonic Corporation of North America, and Katsuhiko Omoto, President, Panasonic Factory Solutions Company Ltd.
Mr. Taylor kicked-off the celebration by congratulating Panasonic Factory Solutions Company of America staff members and sharing his thoughts on the importance of their role in the industrial and B2B2C spaces. Mr. Omoto praised members on their collaborative efforts throughout Panasonic as well as their successes in helping bring new products to new markets in North America as well as the rest of the world.
