Virginia Democratic gubernational candidate Mark Warner recently visited printed circuit board manufacturer Printed Circuit Solutions Manufacturing (PCSM), in Galax, Virginia. Warner is cofounder of Nextel and managing director of Columbia Capital Corp., the largest technology-focused venture capital fund in the mid-Atlantic region.
As part of his 11-day statewide tour, Warner was welcomed by PCSM for a facility tour.
"If elected Governor, Warner has stated that he would like to bring more high tech industries to southwest Virginia," said Jack Galyean, president and general manager of PCSM. "PCSM is a good example of how a technology company can compete nationally, even when it is based in a rural area of the state."
PCSM is a prototype PCB manufacturer, producing standard as well as exotic PCBs for various OEMs, with turnaround times of one to five days. Technology produced includes: 16-layer, blind and buried via, microvia, flex and rigid flex, 14-foot-long two-layer, various materials and surface finishes. PCSM is a prototype as well as exotic niche PCB manufacturer.
