Jan 23, 2001 IPC- Association Connecting Electronics Industries has welcomed 461 new members for 2000. This is up from 442 new members in 1999. Total end-of-year IPC membership for 2000 stands at 2,778, which represents the largest membership number in IPC's history.
"Our retention rate is more than 90%," said Jeanette Ferdman, IPC's membership director. "This success can be attributed to the amount of effort IPC puts into making member benefits an outstanding return on a company's investment of annual dues."
IPC currently has members in more than 47 countries and continues to provide its members with access to the latest technology and information in the electronics industry.
"This is a phenomenal achievement for membership in 2000," said Denny McGuirk, IPC president. "IPC continues to provide its members with programs that meet their needs, and we will continue to expand our programs and services as a value added benefit of membership."
