SMTA China held its annual awards presentation in conjunction with the SMTA China Annual Breakfast Reception and Recognition Ceremony, which took place on April 26, 2012 at the Shanghai Expo Intercontinental Hotel during NEPCON China in Shanghai.
Zeping Zheng, Managing Director of Asia Pacific Sales at BTU International Inc., was named Officer of the Year. Zeping has provided great support by liaising with China Government Officers for SMTA China. Additionally, he has served SMTA China as Vice President of
Training and has been a key leader of the organization.
Danny Li, General Manager of Sanmina-SCI Hangzhou Branch, was named Individual Member of the Year. Danny has been a very active member and provided full support to many conference and training sessions for SMTA China for many years.
Megan Wendling, Principal of MW Associates, was named Councilor of the Year. Megan has fully supported all SMTA China events, actively promoted SMTA China conferences and solicits many sponsors to SMTA China.
Manbo Su, General Secretary of Guangdong Province SMT Committee, was named Advisor of the Year. Mr. Su and his committee have been great partners to SMTA China for many years. Additionally, he was instrumental in linking SMTA China and the Guangdong Province SMT Committee.
Kasion Automation Limited was named Corporate Member of the Year. Kasion has been an SMTA International Corporate Member for 12 years, during which time it has provided great sponsorship to SMTA China, especially for conferences and golf tournaments. Additionally, Kasion has provided complimentary support in administration, design and organization for the conferences and training of SMTA China over the years.
Reed Exhibitions (China) Ltd., Shanghai Branch was named Partner Sponsor of the Year.
For many years, Reed Exhibitions has sponsored SMTA China conferences and meetings in conjunction with NEPCON shows in Shanghai and Shenzhen for years. Reed is the largest sponsor of SMTA China to date.
Indium Corporation was named Member Sponsor of the Year. Indium has provided strong sponsorship of SMTA China and events including conferences and golf tournaments. Additionally, over the years, the company has shown support by teaching and organizing the conferences and training of SMTA China.
SMT China Magazine was named Media Sponsor of the Year. SMT China Magazine has provided a great deal of support in the SMTA China Conference Program to promote the technology conferences, vendor conferences, training courses, annual reception and dinner, as well as the annual golf tournament sponsorship with the official NEPCON show daily publications.
