The event is scheduled to take place April 25-27, 2012 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center. The V810 Advanced 3-D In-Line X-ray Inspection System is the fastest and best test coverage AXI system in the world. The V810 X-ray machine is the latest revolution in X-ray technology inspecting double-sided panels with high defect coverage, high inspection speed and low false call rate. The V810 has recently won the 2011 Global Technology Award, 2012 NPI Award and was selected as a finalist for the 2012 Best in Test Awards. The V810 is also known as the BEST successor of 5DX - with improved speed, call rate and test coverage.
The V810 is capable of detecting many defects including shorts, opens, missing components, non-wetting, billboards, tombstones, lifted leads, solder balls, voiding, insufficient solder, reversed tantalum capacitor and excess solder. Additionally, it has the ability to inspect the toughest hidden joint defects commonly found on the production line such as head-in-pillow, package-on-package, PTH and various types of connector joint defects to a standard far beyond other AXI machines on the market.
ViTrox also will showcase the V510 Advanced Optical Inspection Machine (AOI). It has been well-recognized and installed worldwide with more than 300 units within the past 1.5 years. The V510 inspection provides superior coverage of solder joint defects, low contrast component location, wrong part inspection and much more.

Additionally, ViTrox will showcase the improved version of software applications - ViTrox Process Control Tool (VPCT), which includes the ViTrox Verification Tool Solution (VVTS) and ViTrox Database SPC (VDSPC). VVTS, a repair tool with SPC capability, is designed for reviewing and verifying inspection results and images with which good reference images as well as previously classified defect images are provided for more effective defect comparison. VDSPC is an advanced SPC tool that can be applied to multiple lines and machines for overall down-drill and wide-drill defect/chart analysis.
Another important feature is Centralized Library Distribution (CLD), which serves as a centralized database to verify, modify and deploy algorithms and test programs to multiple AOI systems on the production floor.
