AdoptSMT Group distributes Nozzles from Count On Tools throughout Europe

Mar 27, 2012

Portfolio contains  a large variety of special nozzles for LEDs

Count On Tools has appointed AdoptSMT Europe GmbH as their distributor for all of Europe. AdoptSMT will be responsible for COT’s complete range of replacement parts for the SMT industry including vacuum nozzles for pick and place machines. Count On Tools develops and manufactures a large variety of special nozzles for LEDs and gripper nozzles for Odd Form Components like connectors. The portfolio also includes standard nozzles with or without ceramic tips compatible to OEM nozzles. The nozzles are available for all major Pick and Place brands including Siplace, Fuji, Panasonic, Assembleon/Yamaha, Universal Instruments, Hitachi and Mydata.

LED applications are among the fastest growing sectors of the electronics industry.  In addition to status LEDs, development effort is now focusing on displays, automotive industry and object lighting. As the surface of the LED typically isn’t flat due to optical and cost constraints, standard pick & place nozzles are unsuitable and special LED nozzles are required for this dynamic sector. Count On Tools, with in-depth experience and knowledge on this topic, co-operates with major LED manufacturers right from the development phase. The company is capable of designing and manufacturing new LED nozzle types at short notice.

Curt Couch, President and founder of Count On Tools: “We see Europe with the many innovative Pick and Place users as a strategically important market and are therefore very happy to have won AdoptSMT as our partner. They are known for their extensive technical knowledge and have a great coverage of the European market. In the loose partnership over the last few months they brought us not only nice sales but also proved to be a partner for developing additional products.“

Erhard Hofmann, Managing Director and founder of AdoptSMT Europe GmbH: „Count On Tools is the perfect fit for us. They match our high quality expectations and work perfectly solution orientated to the best of our customers. The special nozzles give us the chance to show customers our competence for excellent cost saving solutions and subsequently also win them as customers for our standard program.

As the European Sales Manager I am glad the agreement with Count On Tools covers all of Europe, so all our sales engineers throughout Europe can represent their complete product range“ adds Günther Breckner of AdoptSMT Europe GmbH.
