Methods to improve the speed of the SMT machine--KINGSUN

In the SMT production process, considering the importance of the mounting speed of the SMT machine, many SMT machine manufacturers are making every effort to improve the speed of the SMT machine. KINGSUN technical team has analyzed the following main methods to improve the speed of the SMT machine:

一、Structural Improvement of SMT Machine

1. Adopting dual tracks:  This can achieve PCB placement on one track and board feeding on the other track, reducing PCB conveying time and standby dwell time of the placement head.

2. Multi mount head combination technology :  There are now arch structures with double and four heads, which use both ends to drive simultaneously to prevent the effect of cantilever beams and reduce mechanical stability time.

3. Combined (or modular) multi unit structure, emphasizing the installation speed per unit area.

二、Mounting head and nozzle technology

Lightning mounting head :  Multi nozzle structure with up to 30 nozzles on one mounting head, high stability and strong adaptability, capable of mounting components from 0 ⒛ 1 and 01005 to 30mm × 30mm QFP element;

三、Motion driven and linear motor technology

Using fuzzy control technology, the motion is controlled in three stages, namely "slow, fast, and slow", with an "S" shape change, making the motion both "soft" and "fast".

A patented linear motor that utilizes high positioning accuracy and high repeatability, as well as high speed and acceleration, can be quickly and stably (up to 55ms), has low working current, and can achieve high-precision control.

四、Rapid detection technology

Combination of laser and CCD applications:Dual cameras - chip components and large-sized ICs are detected separately, enabling fast image acquisition and conversion circuits.

五、Feeder technology

The feeding method of the intelligent feeder can shorten the time for component replacement and manual errors. Capable of non-stop refueling, dual belt feeder, and large feeder capacity. Some SMT machines can reach the capacity of 256 8mm feeders, which can efficiently supply bulk materials.

六、Software technology

Various forms of PCB files can be directly optimized to generate SMD program files, reducing manual programming time. It is suitable for machine fault self-diagnosis systems and large-scale production comprehensive management systems, and can intelligently operate the system.
