PVA will showcase the FCS300-ES Ultra Fine Extended Spray Valve during the 2021 IPC APEX Virtual EXPO, scheduled to take place March 9-11, 2021 online at www.ipcapexexpo.org. The valve will be featured on PVA’s Delta 6 and Delta 8 selective coating platforms.
The FCS300-ES Ultra Fine was designed to apply medium to high viscosity coatings in thin films at pattern widths 50 percent smaller than existing technology (2mm). At these pattern widths the FCS300-ES Ultra Fine can access tight, difficult to reach coverage areas, replacing heads that apply thick films that can fail during shock or thermal cycle testing or expensive jetting valves that can be difficult to maintain. The FCS300-ES Ultra Fine has the best edge definition of any PVA atomized valve assuring accuracy for even the most difficult applications.
TheES Ultra Fine can achieve edge definition of ±1 mm with a 99 percent transfer efficiency. This precise functionality significantly reduces overspray and allows for tight adherence to keep-out zones. It also features a micrometer flow adjustment that allows users to quickly and easily fine-tune the conformal coating process.
