P.D. Circuits Announces 32 Percent Growth for 2008

Jan 07, 2009

HAMPSTEAD, N.H. - January 2009 - P.D. Circuits, Inc., specializing in delivering the highest quality PCBs, technical support, and service to OEM and EMS companies worldwide, announces 32 percent growth for 2008, despite the major domestic market decline for printed circuit boards.

Company President David Wolff attributed the company's success to several factors: First and foremost, P.D. Circuits has emphasized continued focus toward providing on-time quality boards for consumers, he said. The company also has increased its manufacturing partner breadth to provide a wider range of products from two-sided boards to HDI substrates. Meanwhile, the company has placed great emphasis on strengthening its QTA capabilities in the United States as well as China, and added to its field engineering and its IPC 600-G qualified inspection staff in Asia.

Continued education of PDC's staff also has been a tremendous success factor, according to Wolff. P.D. Circuits has continued education of customers' chasing and engineering staffs with seminars at PDC as well as at customer facilities. Other success factors include the expansion of test capabilities in China, and upgrading of manufacturing partner capabilities.

Wolff forecasted another year of double-digit growth by adhering to and enhancing the company's operating module. As more prospects fear the stability of their current suppliers and begin enquiring about the possibility of P.D. Circuits managing their entire PWB supply chain, PDC is finally getting the recognition they deserve.
