Top Chemistry Developer and Blender Florida CirTech Appoints New President

Apr 08, 2015

In a move designed to grow its business and expand its service and applications offering, Florida CirTech has named Neil MacRaild to the post of President as part of his wider responsibilities as Group President of FCT Companies.  Having worked in the electronics industry for over 25 years in various engineering and leadership positions, MacRaild brings extensive business development, global manufacturing and channel management expertise to his role at Greeley, Colorado-based Florida CirTech.

“Florida CirTech is firmly established as an innovator of unique chemistries to enable various processes in printed circuit board (PCB) fabrication as well as custom chemistries for the waste water treatment and metal finishing industries,” explains MacRaild. “Having been in this role with the company for just a few months, I can already see huge opportunities to expand Florida CirTech’s portfolio and advance our service offering to better align with customers’ emerging requirements. The chemistry know-how of the team is unmatched and I look forward to harnessing its potential.”

MacRaild succeeds former President, Tom Scimeca, who was fundamental in the growth of Florida CirTech to its current market-leading position. Prior to joining the company, MacRaild held top executive positions at well-known electronics industry companies including screen printing technology leader DEK (now ASM Assembly Systems), tooling innovator Ovation Products and, most recently, PhotoStencil. As President of Florida CirTech, MacRaild’s aspirations include accelerating the development of enabling chemistries, enhancing the company’s service capabilities and scope, and leveraging the team’s chemistry expertise within other parts of the FCT business.

“The chemistry specialists at Florida CirTech have brought successful chemistries to market that deliver significant process, environmental and commercial benefits,” says MacRaild in conclusion. “The formulation expertise built into every product is immense and I look forward to working with the team to expand the portfolio, enable our customers’ competitiveness and continue to build on the growth Florida CirTech has realized since its inception.”
