Growing Business and Strengthening the Bottom Line

Nov 18, 2004

Bannockburn, Ill., November 18, 2004 Leaders in the printed circuit board (PCB) industry face a multitude of issues every day. Protecting niches. Customer education. Emerging technologies. Market forecasts.

IPC Association Connecting Electronics Industries has developed the IPC IMS (Interconnect Manufacturing Services)/PCB Presidents Management Meeting, providing executives an exclusive forum of experts and peers who can provide answers for balancing costs, developing new technologies and producing high quality products while at the same time meeting supply chain expectations.

The event will be held February 21, 2005, in Anaheim, Calif., in conjunction with IPC Printed Circuits Expo, APEX and the Designers Summit. With the addition of Electronic Circuits World Convention 10, the meeting will bring together representatives worldwide from all aspects of industry, offering the perfect mix of insight and information.

Attendees will begin their day with a presentation titled, Positioning your Cost Drivers to Your Customers: An International Perspective. Next, executives will discuss how market and financial trends impact their business and what they can do to be more successful. And immediately following, information on protecting niches to ensure continued survival will be presented.

After a networking lunch, the Hows Business? roundtable discussion will provide participants an opportunity to converse with other IMS/PCB executives and walk away with practical ideas they can use to strengthen their company.

A presentation on future technological developments and preparation for meeting customer expectations will conclude the meeting.

In order to be successful, companies need to start planning today. Executives of the PCB industry are being extended this opportunity to gather information that is so critical to their future. This is a not-to-be-missed meeting, says Denny McGuirk, IPC president.
