RAYVAL TECHNOLOGIES FIRST IN CHINA TO EARN CERTIFICATION AS QUALIFIED MANUFACTURER TO IPC J-STD-001 AND IPC-A-610 Recognized as an IPC-Trusted Source for Electronics Manufacturing

Jul 03, 2014

IPC — Association Connecting Electronics Industries® has awarded an IPC J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 Qualified Manufacturers Listing (QML) to RayVal Technologies Co. Ltd., an electronics manufacturing services (EMS) company in Suzhou, China. Under IPC’s Validation Services Program, the facility successfully underwent an intensive audit based on two of the electronics industry’s foremost manufacturing standards: IPC J-STD-001, Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies, and IPC-A-610, Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies.

Philip Carmichael, president, IPC Greater China, will present the QML certificate to RayVal Technologies during a RayVal “Open House” event on Tuesday, July 15, in Suzhou.

As a leading EMS company in China, RayVal Technologies is committed to providing the highest quality services and lowest costs to our customers. We are honored to be the first EMS company in China and one of the first companies in the world to receive a QML certification,” said Tony Zhou, president, RayVal Technologies. “Our QML is quite different from other certifications we’ve earned — the QML proves our manufacturing capabilities are in accordance with IPC industry standards.”

As Carmichael explains, while other certification programs call for a company to self-evaluate and report in written form, under IPC’s program, objective auditors conduct on-site evaluations of whether products and processes conform to IPC standards.

RayVal Technologies met or exceeded the requirements for the electronics industry’s most rigorous classification, Class 3, which is intended for high-performance electronics assemblies. The facility is now listed as an IPC-trusted source capable of manufacturing in accordance with industry best practices. RayVal Technologies and other trusted sources of supply can be found on IPC’s QML database at www.ipcvalidation.org.

“IPC’s Validation Services program gives EMS providers and industry suppliers the opportunity to become part of a network of trusted sources that the industry worldwide will look to when evaluating business partnerships,” said Carmichael. “We are pleased to recognize RayVal as the newest member of IPC’s network of trusted QML suppliers.”
