ECD Soldering Seminar Will Help Improve Yields, Reduce Re-work and Increase Profitability!

Aug 02, 2001

Mr. Ray Chartrand, one of the leading experts in the Soldering Industry, in concert with ECD will be holding a series of cost-saving Profiling Seminar during August 2001. Ray has over 20 years experience troubleshooting soldering, reflow, and cleaning problems for the electronics industry and presently consults for over 40 of the largest industries in the electronic assembly marketplace.

Ray's design engineering background includes all aspects of equipment production.During his employment at one of the world's leading manufacturers, Ray designed both prototype and custom equipment. He also supervised the installation and process setup of production equipment. Ray is the inventor of several innovative process applications, developed for the no-clean process currently employed in the electronics industry.

Ray has supervised and conducted training to all branches of the electronics industry, including automotive, computer, military, medical and telecommunications. He has lectured at colleges and universities. He was once selected by the Korean Business Association to represent the soldering industry on a countrywide tour. He is a member of SMTA and has lectured and conducted workshops for them. He has also written and presented papers at NEPCON and APEX.

As course leader, Ray is now available to provide you with a unique perspective to the soldering process. The title of his half-day Seminar is, "Quantifying and Controlling the Reflow and Wave Automated Solder Processes using Thermal Profiling." Process Engineers, Production Managers, Quality Personnel, Operators and Maintenance Staff will learn how thermal profiling can help you identify and correct a variety of solder defects that may be slowing down your wave and reflow automated solder processes.

Receive real-world, practical information that you can implement immediately to help you improve yields, reduce re-work and increase the overall efficiency and profitability of your automated solder operations. Regardless of what brand of profiler you currently use, you will benefit from attending this Seminar.

If you do not currently use a profiler in your process, come and hear from the experts why you should use a profiler.
