About the creation of communication standards to enable machine to machine cooperation in SMT lines by ELS
Jun 18, 2018 | The SMT equipment communication rule standardization subcommittee (hereafter referred to as ELS) from the Japan Robot Association (hereafter referred to as JARA), of which Fuji Corporation is a member, has advanced the standardization of communication for M2M cooperation in SMT lines.
The standard JARAS 1014 has been introduced for the SMT market.

Surface mount technology equipment communication protocol standardization subcommittee’s launch
Nov 14, 2017 | At the Japan Robot Association, enterprises who manufacture surface mount technology (SMT) equipment and related software launched the SMT equipment communication protocol standardization subcommittee in order to establish protocols for sharing information by communication methods between SMT machines (M2M cooperation). A ballot was held, and the elected subcommittee chairman for the first year is from Fuji Machine Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and the vice subcommittee chairman is from Panasonic Corporation, with the board of governors comprising representatives from member corporations including Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd., JUKI CORPORATION, along with OMRON Corporation, Saki Corporation, TAMURA CORPORATION, and CKD Corporation. The twenty member companies shown in table 1 will work together to advance this standardization.

Fuji NXT III now supports the new 0201 mm (008004") components
Dec 17, 2014 | Fuji's Scalable Placement Platform NXT III now supports 0201 mm (0.25 x 0.125 mm, 008004") components as standard. By loading the newly developed H24G head on the NXT III, 0201 mm (0.25 x 0.125 mm, 008004") components can be supported without any change to the specifications of the machine (speed: 35,000 cph, accuracy: ±25 μm). The Intelligent Part Sensor (IPS), which checks the orientation of parts on the nozzle and ensures that the part does not remain on the nozzle after placement, is standard on the H24G placement head.

Fuji Machine and Toyo Communication Announce Joint Venture in China
Dec 27, 2011 | Fuji Machine Manufacturing Co., Ltd. with supplier Toyo Communication Technology Co., Limited will establish a joint venture called KUNSHAN FUJI MACHINE MFG. CO., LTD. (provisional) in Kunshan, Jiangsu, China. This joint venture will manufacture, in China, highly reliable, high quality, cost competitive machine parts and assemblies to be used in machines such as electronics assembly machines and machine tools. In addition, there is the prospect that electronics assembly machines and machine tools will be produced locally in the future. With both companies combining their strengths such as the advanced technology from Fuji and the supply chain from Toyo in this cooperative venture, we can provide more competitive products. This joint venture will be established in April 2012 (scheduled) and our target is to begin operations during 2013.
