Petroferm Expands Applications Laboratory

Gurnee, IL � Petroferm Inc, a global leader in the supply of environmentally responsible cleaning agents, recently added several aqueous and semi-aqueous cleaning systems expanding its testing capabilities at its Gurnee, IL facility. The most recent addition is a new state-of-the-art, in-line aqueous cleaning system made by Austin American Technology. This new addition will help further develop and demonstrate the new BIOACT� EC-88 Defluxer with AquaEdge� Technology for cleaning lead-free solder paste in electronics manufacturing. This spray-in-air system complements a Branson ultrasonic immersion system suitable for demonstrating the company's AXAREL�, BIOACT and CleanSafe� aqueous and semi-aqueous products used in batch immersion cleaning applications.

Petroferm's application laboratory capabilities also includes vapor degreasers from Branson and Baron-Blakeslee for testing using Petroferm's LENIUM� vapor degreasing solvents and co-solvent technologies. The laboratory is also equipped with cleanliness evaluation equipment and instrumentation.
