IPC LAUNCHES 2014 EMS QUALITY BENCHMARK SURVEY

Mar 10, 2014

IPC – Association Connecting Electronics Industries® has launched its Quality Benchmark Survey for the EMS Industry. Participation is open to all EMS companies worldwide. The deadline for survey responses is April 4, 2014.

Developed with input from quality managers and executives across the global EMS industry, the study covers the industry's most widely used and important quality measurements, including production data, assembly attributes, yields, defect rates (DPMO), customer returns, supplier performance and many other metrics.

Companies that participate by completing the survey will receive the report on the results at no cost. The report will show industry averages, best-in-class metrics and results segmented by company size tiers. Companies use the results to benchmark their operations to world-class quality metrics. IPC publishes only aggregate results in its market research reports and does not share any company-specific information.

Quality Benchmark Survey for the EMS Industry can be found at www.ipc.org/EMS-Benchmark-Survey with access code 410. EMS companies that wish to participate should contact marketresearch@ipc.org to obtain their individual company codes.
