SMTA International, Sensors Midwest to Co-locate

Feb 01, 2018

The Surface Mount Technology Association and Questex LLC announce a co-location of SMTA International and Sensors Midwest. The SMTA International Conference and Exhibition will be held October 14-18, 2018 and Sensors Midwest will be held October 16-17, 2018 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL.

SMTA President Jeff Kennedy commented, "I am pleased that we will once again co-locate with Sensors Midwest. The combination of manufacturing solutions and cutting edge sensors technology is a great value for attendees."

Sensors Midwest is excited to co-locate with SMTA International again for the 2018 event and we believe this is a great opportunity for attendees to participate in both events simultaneously. This strategic partnership broadens our attendees’ purchasing and education options as we expand our focus on Industry 4.0 and manufacturing,” commented Cal Groton, Group Director, Sensors Midwest.

As the sensors industry grows and expands, Sensors Midwest continues its mission to provide the Midwest region, leading content and access to the latest topics that are transforming our industry. The event will expand its focus on important sensing technologies and applications including Industry 4.0 and manufacturing automation, autonomous vehicles, medical sensors, IoT, IIoT, smart cities, and more. In addition to workshops, the event will offer a contiguous event experience, hosting sessions led by expert speakers directly on the Expo Floor allowing attendees to learn about the latest sensor technologies and then see them in action just steps away.
