 a full 3d inline inspection system to accurately inspect for a range of different properties, including average height, volume, misalignment, bridging, insufficient solder or a range of other defects that can occur during the soldering process.

Using a CCD camera placed perpendicular to the object being inspected, the machine uses a projector to radiate a color stripe light pattern onto the object, the camera then picks up any deviations in this pattern. This method makes inspection speed faster and fine pitch pads of up to 8 microns can be inspected at high levels of accuracy and repeatability.
