Atmospheric dust consists of solids suspended in air. Dust is well known for its complex nature. It normally includes inorganic mineral materials, water soluble salts, organic materials, and a small amount of water. The impact of dust on the reliability of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) is ever-growing, driven by the miniaturization of technology and the increasing un-controlled ...
Latent short circuit failures have been observed during testing of Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) for power distribution of spacecraft of the European Space Agency. Root cause analysis indicates that foreign fibers may have contaminated the PCB laminate. These fibers can provide a pathway for electromigration if ...
Effectively removing contamination is one step toward guaranteeing the long-term reliability of mission critical circuit assemblies. While circuit boards in ordinary consumer products are not intended to last, high reliability applications in the military, aerospace, communication, medical and automotive industries demand a guaranteed, long-term product life.
Because of the phase-out of CFCs and HCFCs, standard solder pastes and fluxes evolved from RA and RMA fluxes to No-Clean, to low residue No-Clean, to very low residue No-Clean. Many companies came out with their cleaning solutions, aqueous and semi-aqueous, with each product release being more innovative than the previous one. Unfortunately for most of the suppliers ...
inline smt 1m 2 stage conveyor belt -- Hi guys, This stubborn conveyor (inline smt 1m 2 stage) keeps popping off its track. I have tried to replace the old belt, turn the new belt around, tighten it as much as I can, but it keeps coming off the little wheels as shown in the picture. Do you know what else I can try to do to keep the belt from slipping off? Attachments: 20220211_103842.jpg [2.5M]

Aoi systems Scanspection -- Hello all, we have a laser machine in house(we bought it to cut foam) that looks pretty accurate. We are considering to start cutting our own repair stencils, so I am researching into the material side of it. Would you recommend what kind of material will be good for rework stencil?
