Advanced Product Design & Mfg., Inc. (APDM) has been doing business in Pennsylvania since 1996 as an extension of our customer's product design teams. Our primary focus has been providing Custom Electronics Design Engineering Solutions combined with complete In-House Contract Manufacturing Capabilities to product manufacturers and OEMs in the mid-Atlantic region. APDM's strength is in its engineering design team, which separates us from traditional contract manufacturers, who typically just build to print. Since APDM has control and knowledge of the design, it can carry this through to the manufacturing process and thus, provide a better overall product solution to our customers.

APDM supports a wide range of product markets in the Medical, Aerospace, Industrial, Railcar, Postal, Analytical, Gaming and Security industries. Recent projects include controls for drug dispensing systems and hospital carts, oil and gas exploration equipment, water and waste water treatment facility controls, scientific instruments for spectrophotometry and nanotechnology, mail sorting equipment in US Postal facilities and gaming systems in the entertainment field.

APDM has a diverse staff of multi degreed, senior level, electronics product engineers, all with 15 plus years of experience. Most of the manufacturing team is IPC610 trained and certified having worked in the electronics manufacturing environment 10 to 25 years. The APDM Team is comprised of individuals who have been associated with the electronics design and manufacturing business for over three decades.

APDM moved into its current location at the Highlands Corporate Center near the Chester County Airport in 2006. The company's modern manufacturing capabilities includes equipment and processes to assemble printed circuit boards using surface mount and through hole technologies. The business attained ISO 9001:2000 registration and certification in 2004 and conducts biannual audits to maintain compliance.
