May 18, 2017 | Computrol today announced that Farid Anani has rejoined the company as its Vice President of Operations. Anani previously lead Computrol’s engineering and production groups for more than 10 years. After leaving the company to explore other career opportunities, he has returned in an increased capacity.
Apr 03, 2017 | Computrol today announced that it has acquired Western Electronics LLC. Computrol will merge the Western Electronics’ Meridian facility with its existing local facility, and operate the Denver, CO facility under the Computrol name.
Mar 06, 2017 | Computrol today announced that it has purchased and installed an XQuik II with AccuCount Technology from VJ Electronix. The innovative system uses X-ray imaging combined with proprietary image analysis to quickly and accurately count components without the need to unwind the reels and manually count.
Jan 10, 2017 | Computrol announced plans to exhibit in Booth #524 at MD&M West, scheduled to take place Feb. 7-9, 2017 at the Anaheim Convention Center in CA. Computrol is certified to ISO 9001-2008, ISO 13485 specific to medical device quality systems, AS9100 specific to military and aerospace quality systems, IPC class II and III and J-STD certified as well as being ITAR registered and lead-free RoHS compliant.
Jan 09, 2017 | Computrol announced plans to exhibit in Booth #2240 at the 2017 IPC APEX EXPO, scheduled to take Feb. 14-16, 2017 at the San Diego Convention Center in Calif. Over the past year, Computrol has upgraded its two state-of-the-art facilities with more than 10 new advanced systems to keep up with its customers’ needs.
Dec 18, 2016 | Computrol is pleased to announce that it has installed five Europlacer LZero3 Component Storage Systems at its Meridian facility. The Lzero3 networks with existing MRP/ERP systems and pick-and-place machines to efficiently pick and restock factory works orders. As a result, Computrol’s assembly operation has begun to realize additional production efficiencies from what will be the largest Europlacer Warehouse Management Solution (WMS) implementation in the USA, to date.
Sep 28, 2016 | Computrol announces that it was awarded a 2016 Global Technology Award in the category of Contract Services $50-100 million for its Manufacturing Services. The award was presented to the company during a Tuesday, September 27, 2016 ceremony that took place at the Donald Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL during SMTA International.
Jun 15, 2016 | Computrol today announced that it has purchased and installed an Assembléon iFlex T2 and two iFlex H1s from Kulicke & Soffa. The lane iFlex T2 is a multifunctional or line-balancing solution with a large component range. The iFlex H1 end-of-line solution offers odd-form and gripper capabilities.

May 09, 2016 | Computrol today announced that it has purchased and installed a SPEA 4050 Flying Probe Tester. The addition of the SPEA flying probe at Computrol’s Meridian, ID facility further strengthens the company’s extensive functional test capabilities.
