Accu-sembly, Inc.
Accu-sembly, Inc. is a subcontract electronic assembly house providing assembly services to many different manufacturers. In the past 25 years, we have worked with hundreds of customers from one man operations to industry-leading corporations.
Accu-sembly currently has a staff of 95 full-time personnel dedicated to providing a variety of electronic assembly services to a broad range of customers in many different industries. In the past 22 years, we have worked with hundreds of customers from one-man operations to industry-leading corporations. Our production lines have turned out assemblies ranging from digital dynos to deep-space radio telescopes, pointers to power-supplies and video games to variable power controls for aircraft. From prototype to mass production, Accu-sembly can do what it takes to get your product to market.
Accu-sembly's mission is to form mutually rewarding partnerships with our customers while providing opportunities for personal growth and success.
For over 20 years, this principle has guided us in our continued efforts to increase our services, improve our quality and develop our staff.
PAST & PRESENT
Accu-sembly, Inc. was founded by John Hykes, Janice Shimmin, and John Shimmin in 1983. The three originally worked out of their garage in San Gabriel assembling alarm systems at night. A few months later they hired their first employee and within the year expanded to a 1,000 square foot warehouse with holes in the wall. With the purchase of a Solderette manually operated table-top wave solder machine and a few more employees, Accu-sembly continued to grow. By 1986, the company employed 18 and again needed to move. This time they relocated to a 5,000 square foot shop in El Monte. In 1991, they purchased their first SMT assembly line. By 1997, several SMT lines and employees later, they relocated to a new 15,000 square foot facility in Duarte, California.
