Mar 16, 2017 | CAMI Research Inc. (Acton, MA) has re-released an instructional continuity-testing video series for the field of cable and harness testing. The series covers ‘golden’ cable creation, test, and documentation stages of the manufacture of cables and harnesses. The tutorials include techniques that can also be used with backplanes and components, and guided assembly, and are demonstrated with live examples using CableEye and its latest (v5) software.
Feb 28, 2017 | CAMI Research will again host seminar & professional development training sessions at the Wire Processing Technology Expo in Milwaukee, and offer opportunities to win $500 in CableEye® accessories. These sessions will be held on the Tuesday – the EXPO set-up day. As an exhibitor, they will reveal a new self-driven exhibit for visitors to experience CableEye’s ease of use and flexibility, especially regarding automated testing.
Feb 24, 2017 | CAMI Research Inc. (Acton, MA) announces another new interface board for its CableEye cable and harness testing systems. Populated with precision resistors it allows users to determine empirically whether the HVX optional, add-on, 4-Wire measurement function requires calibration.
Oct 11, 2016 | CAMI Research Inc. (Acton, MA) announces another new board for its CableEye cable and harness testing systems. Populated with solder pads to accept both aligned and staggered, 1.25mm and 1.5mm pitch, surface mount and through hole (TH) connectors, the board addresses any market with a demand for board-to-board connections. Rated to 700Vdc/500Vac, the CB51 may be used on all CableEye models.
Jul 21, 2016 | CAMI Research reports that a customer has successfully tested simultaneous, multipoint continuity in a two-mile long, multicore cable (rated at 10Ω/1000ft) using a CableEye M3UH tester.
May 04, 2016 | CAMI Research has issued its latest catalog featuring new products and services. Available immediately, the catalog showcases their expanding CableEye suite of Low and High Voltage (HiPot) test system products for cable & wire harness manufacturing.
Apr 06, 2016 | CAMI Research Inc. (Acton, MA) announces another new board for its CableEye cable and harness testing systems. Populated with four 16-pole screw terminal blocks, the board addresses high voltage (HiPot) testing to 2100Vdc/1200Vac. Of particular interest to the harness testing market, the CB29H is also available as a transition board variant (CB29AH).
Mar 09, 2016 | CAMI Research Inc. (Acton, MA) announces a new board for its CableEye cable and harness testing systems. Populated with solder pads to accept a suite of TE-Connectivity™ Micro-MaTch connectors, the board addresses markets plagued by vibration and fretting corrosion, and requiring “miniaturized connectivity”. Rated to 500Vdc/350Vac, the CB49 may be used on all CableEye models.
Feb 05, 2016 | CAMI Research Inc. (Acton, MA) announces a new board for its CableEye cable and harness testing systems. Populated with precision resistors, it allows users to determine empirically whether the tester requires calibration. The CB50 may be used on all CableEye models.
Jan 11, 2016 | CAMI Research Inc. (Acton, MA) has appointed two new distributors for its CableEye cable and harness testing systems. Semicon (Poland & Eastern Europe), and LK Hitech (Korea) bring the number of global distributors to twenty.
