Jul 27, 2017 | CAMI Research has released a USB Type-C test interface board for its CableEye cable and harness testing systems. A daughter board, populated with two USB-C female connectors, it allows users to continuity-check USB Type-C terminated cables using the CableEye tester while seeing the connectors-undertest rendered graphically. The CB26U fits all CableEye models.

The series covers ‘golden’ cable creation, test, and documentation stages of the manufacture of cables and harnesses. The tutorials include techniques that can also be used with backplanes and components, and guided assembly, and are demonstrated with live examples using CableEye and its latest (v5) software.

Rated to 700Vdc/500Vac, the CB51 may be used on all CableEye models.
