JUKI ISM3900 Intelligent Reel Storage System Description:

The ISM UltraFlex 3900 is an expansion module designed to connect to the ISM UltraFlex 3600 to double storage capacity. The two towers pass reels back and forth using included connection shuttles.

When used together, up to 7,500 reels can be stored in one compact set. The footprint of the ISM UltraFlex 3900 is equal to the ISM UltraFlex 3600 and provides the same high-density storage.

The ISM UltraFlex 3900 is available in the same case configurations as the ISM UltraFlex 3600: 7” only, 15” only and 7” + 15” combined. Any combination of ISM UltraFlex 3600 and 3900 is possible and up to 3 ISM UltraFlex 3900 can be added to the back of a single ISM UltraFlex 3600.

Efficiency

The ISM UltraFlex 3900 can insert or extract up to 54 reels at one time without any assistance by an operator. This frees workers for more valuable and skilled work. It also saves overall picking time compared to either manual picking or using a vertical storage system.

Space-Saving

When used with an ISM UltraFlex 3600, the combined set can hold up to 7,500 7” 8mm reels using just 7.5 m2 of floor space.

Humidity Control Module:

Standard humidity control maintains an internal relative humidity of 5% or less*. The Fast Recovery Unit adds further humidity control for higher humidity environments. Auditable records of each reel’s history are automatically maintained, improving accuracy and decreasing error-prone manual recording.
