SMT Technician

Join this team focused on RF Modules for the rapidly expanding Cellular and Wireless Data markets.  You will be part of the Packaging and Assembly team, and support multiple R&D design teams within the Wireless Semiconductor Division (WSD) of Avago Technologies. You will be working in Avago WSD’s advanced prototype laboratory. The prototype lab is responsible for generating quick turn samples for WSD’s tier-1 customers. It is also at the leading edge of defining and qualifying enabling Packaging technologies for these products

Responsibilities:

• CAD and SMT programming, assembly technician in Prototype lab

Qualifications:

• Minimum three years of hands on experience in setting up (programming) and operating automatic SMT equipment, including but not limited to stencil printer, Chipshooter (Siemens preferred), and Reflow Oven. 
• Experience with AutoCAD and gerber tool programming for placement file and component list generation is required.
• Capable of following assembly instructions and specifications.  Individual must be responsible and sensitive for workmanship.  Technician must be able to raise any discrepancy or assembly issue for immediate engineering attention
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and resolve process issues in a fast paced environment
