Vice President of Quality

Our client company is a growing Electronics Manufacturer in Southern California that has an urgent need for a Vice President of Quality. Through an aggressive business development plan, this well-established EMS provider is on track to grow over 25% in the next year! This high tech EMS provider delivers high quality electronics assemblies that include PCBA, cables, and full system box builds to the medical, industrial, automotive, communications, data storage, and military market segments.  Having been in business for over 30 years, they are very proud of their excellent working environment, having a very low turn-over rate, and many long-tenured employees!

In the role of Vice President of Quality, you will incorporate quality best practices, train and mentor employees and partner with other departments to achieve an optimized quality culture.  You will be the main point of contact and “The Face of Quality” responsible for working closely with their customers to do presentations and explain the technical data as it relates to quality. You will lead the quality staff in data analysis and conversion into usable, actionable information to improve manufacturing quality, reduction of waste, minimizing defects and improve customer satisfaction.

The background requirements for the position of Vice President of Quality are:

*BS Degree in an Engineering related curriculum.
*Proven success with setting the strategy and the implementation to build a top quality
  organization and culture in an Electronics Manufacturing company.
*Excellent working knowledge of SPC, Lean Manufacturing, and Six-Sigma concepts.
*Supervisory experience with a “hands-on” attitude.
*Strong communication, mentoring, credibility and leadership skills.
