Carson Manufacturing Inc. is a well established, electronics manufacturer. We are seeking a full time Automated Equipment Operator with experience in the electronics, surface mount and PCB assembly.
Responsibilities:

Operates all equipment on the SMT and Lead Insertion lines including; solder paste printer, Pick and Place, solder reflow oven axial inserter and dip inserter.

Perform manual part placement when part placement not within machine capability. Example, placing SMT or leaded parts on the SMT line prior to solder reflow oven.

Assure all equipment set-up activities are completed and correct parts alignment to the circuit board is maintained through out the job process.

Assure a complete tear down of a production job; this includes cleaning up all equipment, screens, feeders, tooling nests, tools and surrounding work area.

Responsible for product quality produced by equipment being operated.
Schedule is from 7:00am to 3:30pm no nights or weekends, overtime possible, medical insurance, life insurance, paid holidays, vacation available for qualified employees.
Requirements:
Skill Sets/Requirements:

Assembler with 2 years SMT experience required.

Electronic automated equipment experience preferred.

High School Diploma or GED, Technical Training preferred.

Lean manufacturing knowledge preferred.

Must be able to work standing.
-
Must have the ability to place small parts on a circuit board.

Must have good hand eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Must be able to read and understand P.C. board layout.
-
Must be knowledgeable with parts, proper alignment, placement orientation and polarity of SMT components.

Hand solder experience required.
-
Understanding of the IPC-610 standards preferred.

Surface mount, PCB assembly experience required.
