SMT Supervisor

We are an ISO 9000, AS 9100, ISO 13485 and NASA certified;  Quick Turn, High Reliability, Contract Manufacturer of PCB assemblies, located in the San Fernando Valley. We serve the aerospace, military, space, medical and telecommunications and other LIFE CRITICAL application business segments.

Due to an increase in our business and customer base, we are searching for the right SMT Supervisor candidate that ; has proven at least 4 years of proven experience;  managing, motivating, training and driving machine operators to achieve increase efficiencies, increase machine utilization and continue to drive down existing world class DPMO.

Job Duties:

• Full responsibility of the SMT manufacturing lines including process, programming, scheduling, and training/ supervision of machine operators in a High mix, Low to medium volume setting.
• Use software to generate SMT and AOI programs.  Also responsible for; X Ray, AOI and wave soldering.
• Create reflow profiles to ensuring integrity and quality of solder joints
• Driving zero-defect quality, 100% on-time delivery and minimal Cycle Time
• Supervise and Upgrade skills thru training of 10- 15 machine operators doing PCB Assembly Manufacturing SMT, wave soldering, axial and radial insertion.
• Continually improve manufacturing quality, cost and throughput.
• Develop, validate and improve the manufacturing processes.

• Lean and Six Sigma background, a plus.
• Superior analytical and problem solving skills
• Good conflict management skills
• Manage mulitiple operations, including; Programming, Scheduling, high speed Fuji placers and NPI MyData placers, QC Inspection, wave soldering, AOI and X –Ray.
• Detailed oriented
• Able to give and receive feedback, openly.
• Multi-Tasker with speed, energy and precise quality of work.
