UEC is currently recruiting for an experienced Controls Engineer III to provide high-level engineering & automation support to organization.

Primary duties include:

• Design, develop, and test all aspects of electrical components, equipment, and machinery throughout entire product development 
phase (product launch to full implementation and field operation)
• Responsible for leading and/or supporting design & development activities such as:
       --- Process and sequential control system hardware design
       --- Process and sequential control system PLC and HMI programming
       --- PC based data acquisition hardware selection and programming
       --- Motion control and robotics systems applications and programming
       --- Machine and process control system diagnostics and repair
       --- Automated test systems design and programming
• Support projects/programs independently at various customer locations
• May use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform assignments


Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelors of Science degree in engineering or related discipline
• A minimum of six (6) years directly related technical/engineering experience
• Thorough Understanding and Practical Application:
       --- PC Based Software - Visual Basic, C++ or similar
       --- Networking - LAN, WIFI
       --- PLC Software - Allen Bradley and/or Siemens
       --- Data Acquisition Software - National Instruments: LabView and/or LabWindows CVI
       --- 2D CAD - AutoCAD or equivalent
• Ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to proficiently work independently on various field operations 
with minimal supervision
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, resourcefulness, initiative and the ability to prioritize and multitask
• Ability to prioritize, organize work and meet deadlines
