PROGRAM MANAGER - Electronics Manufacturing

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Manage Manufacturing Supplier Tactical and Strategic Operations. Assume all aspects of manufacturing supplier management. PRINCIPLE TASKS: Manage all aspects of manufacturing supplier interface: • Drive key suppliers to generate high-level quarterly plan that meets company internal goals. • Drive same suppliers to produce weekly granular plan that supports high-level commit. • Track weekly performance to each supplier’s plan. • Clear bottlenecks for each of those suppliers to support schedule. • Work with purchasing to expedite material. • Re-prioritize suppliers as needed to adjust to changing needs of business. • Communicate material and capacity issues to management and customers • Work effectively with all contact levels of supplier (production staff, planners, buyers, program managers, department directors, and GM) PERSONAL SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE: • Personal Skills - must be detail oriented and be an effective communicator, demonstrate high level of ownership and urgency and interact well with all supplier contact levels. • Qualifications – Must have 5+ years managing electronics industry supply chain, and have strong Excel skills; college degree is preferred. • Experience – Must have prior production planning experience; SAP or similar ERP experience required.
