SMT OPERATOR (MYDATA MY12)

Position Description: (P03) SMT Operator Reports to: Production Manager Department: Manufacturing Job Description: Operate equipment related to surface mount assembly. Responsibilities: • Operate equipment in SMT department. • Insure that established process controls are respected and maintained. • Perform preventive, daily and weekly maintenance on equipment. • Ensures product meet quality requirements as per established criteria. • Respect established work instructions and/or procedures. • Complete all productions and quality reports. • Ensure equipment meets production expectations and assist process group in optimizing equipment. • Participate in continuous improvement activities. • Maintain a clean, safe and healthy work environment. Job Requirements: • Knowledge of SMT processes. • Computer literate (knowledge of Windows, Excel and Words) • Attention to detail and process control. • Minimum 1-year experience with SMT process and equipment. • Familiar with electronics components. • Knowledge of IPC 610 standard. • Familiar with ISO 9000 and 14000 standard. • Able to read and interpret parts lists, assembly drawings and notes. • Manual dexterity. • Bilingual with good communication skills. • Not color blind. • Able to work in a team. • High School leaving certificate or equivalent electronic assembly experience.
