SMT Process Engineer

Position Summary: SMT Process Engineer is responsible for all phases of Printed Circuit Board Assembly. This position oversees process development, improvement, and measurements for PCB manufacturing. Essential Job Functions (listing most important first): O Designs and orders stencils and other tooling. O Creates and monitors maintenance schedules for all process equipment. Troubleshoots equipment. O Monitors and improves day-to-day activities on SMT Lines and PTH assembly operations. O Oversees daily operation of SMT production. O Prepares and maintains machine programs and tracks machine software change forms for completion. O Interfaces and schedules outside service, repair and maintenance for process equipment. O Provides interpretation of customer requirements and trains operators on product requirements. O Establishes and monitors key process measurements O Interfaces with customers to meet customer needs. O Installs lean manufacturing processes.
