Senior Manufacturing Engineer

We are currently seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for our Clarksburg, Maryland location. The candidate must be driven with a strong ability to multi-task under pressure. Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for: * Developing and implementing Manufacturing processes, operations and tools * Analyzing and coordinating changes (ECNs). Creating and maintaining Work Instructions. * Providing technical leadership to operations on Surface Mount and Thru Hole technologies, including Xray, AOI, RoHs implementation. * All Manufacturing Engineering matters relating to new products launches. * Determining and evaluating cost improvement opportunities. Qualifications : To be considered for this exciting and challenging role you must have: U.S. Citizenship. The applicant selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. BS in Electrical or Industrial Engineering. 7 plus years experience in Electronics manufacturing processes and surface mount technologies. Knowledge of IPC standards preferred. Experience with ISO9000 requirements and Statistical Process Control. Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of CCA design rules (DFM), components footprints, material issues such as board material, surface finishes. Knowledge of MRP systems, PeopleSoft a plus.
